Natural Sesame Seeds are the seeds of the flowering plant Sesamum Indicum, of the sesame family. They have a rich nutty flavor which can be brought out with a brief light toasting in an oil free pan. They are used in cuisines all around the world including Asian, Middle Eastern and African cuisines and are often used in a wide variety of sweet and savory foods including baked goods, candies, sushi, tahini, stir fries, marinades and sesame brittle. Sesame Seeds should be stored in a cool, dry environment for better preservation due to their high oil content.
