Native to Vietnam and still grown there this Cinnamon is unmatched in it's flavor. It is also known as Vietnamese Cinnamon and comes from the bark of the evergreen Cinnamomum loureiroi tree, in the Laurel Family. Of the cinnamons, it has the highest content of volatile oils and therefore the most complex and pronounced flavor and aroma lending to it's strong and sweet flavor. Delicious as a topping on anything or used in baking.
