Mexican Oregano is the dried leaf of the flowering plant Lippia graveolens, a member of the Verbena family. It has a savory, pungent flavor with notes of citrus and mild licorice. It pairs well with chili peppers, cumin, and paprika as common in many Mexican dishes and can also be used in Latin American dishes, Tex-Mex chili, and salsa.
