Peppermint is the dried leaf of the herb Mentha X piperita. The flavor and aroma is fresh, cool and green. It is the oldest and most popular flavour of mints and is excellent for use as a tea but works well in many confections and also with lamb and chicken dishes. Mint is found in Greek seasoning recipes as well.
